NRELNREL Tour
Come see the future of hydrogen and fuel cell technology! Join us for a tour of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

R&D efforts at NREL are focused on hydrogen production and delivery, hydrogen storage, fuel cells, technology validation, safety, codes and standards, and analysis. These research areas directly support the NREL Hydrogen, Fuel Cells & Infrastructure Technologies Program. The goal of this program is to help industry develop technologies to produce, store, transport and use hydrogen made from renewable resources in quantities large enough, and at costs low enough, to compete with traditional energy sources such as coal, oil and natural gas.

About the Tour
The tour will include a stop at the NREL visitor's center to see the Science on a Sphere exhibit and will then proceed to the Science and Technology Facility where NREL hosts joint R&D projects with commercial developers, the Solar Energy Research Facility where state-of-the-art photovoltaic research is performed and the Field Test Laboratory Building where the NREL gasifier is housed.

  • The tour will be from 3 to 6 pm on Wednesday, September 24.
